ドトコイ is a simple love adventure game where players read text and make choices to progress through the story. The game recently underwent a major update in August 2020, adding new characters and scenarios.

The story revolves around a second-year high school student who starts a new semester at a transfer school. While running along the new commute route with excitement, the protagonist accidentally bumps into a mysterious figure represented by ■, triggering a spell that lowers the resolution of attractive characters.
